Open the bills that day!

I open the bills and circle the due date on the bill. Then I write the date it has to be mailed (a few days prior to being due) in order for the business to receive it on time!

I do this as also. I also write both dates on my daytimer, (or calendar device). It has worked well. I keep the actual statements sorted by dates 1-10; 11-20; and 21-30/31.
